CRYPTID
Noun: Cryptids are animals that people believe may exist somewhere in the wild, but whose present existence is disputed or unsubstantiated by science.
The Museum of Cryptozoology’s mission is to educate by sharing cryptozoological evidence, artifacts, and cultural items with the public, media, students, scholars, and cryptozoologists from around the world. The logo features a Fresno nightcrawler and the overall design direction is dark and mysterious to fit the subject matter.
The poster design is inspired by Kraken tentacles. The result is abstract and mysterious, giving the viewer just enough to make them curious about the exhibition.
The brochure reveals only the necessary information and leaves the rest up to the imagination.
