For the American Partnership for Eosinophilc Disorder's (APFED) Halloween-themed awareness campaign, I created a series of eosinophil characters to help educate patients and the general public about eosinophil-associated diseases (EADs). Each character appeares in a distinct costume, symbolically paired with a specific EAD. One holds a teal pumpkin to show support for FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project, an initiative that promotes food-allergy-friendly trick-or-treating.
These characters were featured in carousel-style posts across Instagram, Facebook, and X, where visual storytelling and playful holiday language introduced common symptoms and encouraged viewers to speak with their healthcare provider if they recognized warning signs.
I led the campaign end-to-end, including concept development, illustration, and messaging. The result was an accessible, engaging series that transformed complex medical information into memorable, seasonal content.
